I'm not sure in which world the reply "No. Engineering" is an appropriate one to the question "Basketball?" but to each their own I guess.

For all we know this seat mate may have been using a code phrase or cipher to try and identify a fellow operative for aviation safety or to pass along important information for national security.

I heard of a guy once who got a Peruvian onlunk through such tomfoolery.
