When the most competent characters is the her white gamer brother and a over 200 year old white ghoul who cut her finger off infront of her, you know it ain't really going the woke angle, as the Black woman suggested nuking the world for money.
The black guy is basically Finn and the girl....is a naive idiot so represents a control group vault dweller well, good job.
Haven't seen it, but the woke casting and choice of characters can't be ignored.
Put it this way I'd rather a woman and Black guy play those roles than have a stupid naive white guy making the mistakes she does or a white guy fumble as much as the BOS guy does.
It's like arguing there's too many minorities in a slasher horror film.
Amazon has well-documented DEI mandates for its output. It's by virtue of existing woke.
I'd say the mandates are why ended up with some of the casting but it's slightly negated by all the diverse cast being incompetent and stupid while the two main white guys are the best characters.
It's basically like Barbie where a feminist production justified patriarchy.
I found both of them tiresome.
"No ghoul no glory" sums the show.
Basically, I kept wanting to see more of Cooper either pre war or as a Ghoul,he was the best character along with Lucy's brother
