Complete tangent and I know it was tweeted in 2017, but isn't cultural appropriation le bad a talking point since well before then? Why the negative connotation about it in the tweet? Shouldn't "Christians weren't allowed to culturally appropriate us" be cause for joyous celebration, following their ideology?
It's meant in a positive connotation. (the silver lining on the cloud) That's the ironic thing about this. He admits that cultural isolation benefited the Jews to a degree, just as it did for the Japanese at one point. They want to deny that privilege to all nations now - except Israel.
