interesting take, to me. i don't like the left. because there seems to be inherent anti male, and anti white views that i don't agree with. i don't like the right, because there seems to be anti gay, anti female, and anti non-white views that i don't agree with. also. you can be a centrist and so happen to agree with either side. i think the op is just mad because centrist are neither their friends or their enemies. so they can't put us in a box.

There is nothing inherently brave or noble about apathy. Pretending constant fence sitting is the correct course will get you nowhere. A reasonable person won't expect zealous enthusiasm for every position of their side. I don't know why a zealous enthusiasm for apathy is some great ideal anyone should approve of. Let sides debate, let free ideas loose and let free people decide. The constant push to stay in the middle is probably less effective and the more unreasonable option.
