I mean, if her employment was going to end disastrously anyways, better this than hurting some (more) innocent people, I guess.
In time, I think this might happen more often. Declining moral (and hiring) standards, increased diversity hires, easy money chasing. Just need to find the right guy or line of business. Fleecing a police department may as well have been stealing candy from a baby.
