Feels like people get egos the size of their audience when they've been in the spotlight for awhile.

Which also makes them walk on egg shells given to them by others so they don't walk too far away from the ideas the egg shell givers want them to cover.

Never trust a talking head.

They're telling you what you want to hear. And when they get something obvious wrong, or won't cover what you'd like them to, you begin to understand that they're in it for themselves when it counts, and for you when they can profit off it.

And when the tide shifts and they can't possibly not cover it, because it's supposedly in their wheelhouse, they'll cover it with about a third of their ass and gloss over a lot of it, while taking at least the bare minimum amount of youtube minutes to get that sweet sweet revenue.
