I feel like the real world is actually healing, and it's unironically thanks to VR chat. most of the degenerates are deciding to live in The Matrix rather than the real world, and honestly the real world is better for it.

the only thing in the real world I've noticed has gotten way worse is drugs and homelessness. everyone who can't afford a VR headset are instead frying their brains on cartel cocktails.
