When did "International Women's Day" become like a Christmas-level holiday??

I can't escape this "holiday" today, it's being mentioned everywhere and by everyone like it's fucking Christmas, I know it wasn't like this 10 or even 5 years ago...

Our traditional holidays are slowly being replaced with this identitarian trash...

I didn't know it was a thing that was happening. I've heard allusions to it in the same way I always do every year.
