If everything I work on ends up being shit, does it really matter how much or how little influence I have on the process, regardless if my job is an "industry-standard service that's been normal for years"?

The results speak for themselves, and my excuses hold no weight, much less the ones made by others coming to my defense. It does not matter the size, color, consistency or smell. Shit is shit and should be treated as such.
