They remade it twice already, and gave it a second game, Chrono Cross.

The last time people asked about it, it didn't sell well enough for a sequel, or wasn't popular enough for a sequel. I forget which. Felt like a slap in the face considering it was re-released on the PS1 and the DS.

I don't care about Chrono Trigger anymore, if they're willing to write off a huge part of their history like that.
