This 'clip' is just over 2 hours long and is a TDLR of gamergate, we got so much lore to the old guard who was around back then, I was just a lurker back then just finally removing the last of rose-tinted glasses to become the more realist fuck I am now.
Dev mentioned he will do a video on the GG anniversary, maybe it'll have a 'where are they now' section for all the players at the time..
Anyway it's fun watching a new generation getting ready to fight an old enemy in a new uniform...huh wonder if on a MUCH greater scale this is what WW1 vets felt teaching WW2 new recruits lol.
It's actually very odd how this really is a focal point of the cultural revolution that's taken place. We didn't necessarily win, but they sure as shit didn't either.
To this day, it remains the earliest point where there was any real pushback against rabid progressivism being wielded by institutional zealots to protect their income, polarize a population, invent a fictional narrative, and engage in a criminal harassment campaign.
The most important thing to remember is that this was done by Old Media to crush New Media and to protect their investment in corruption and "Access Journalism".
In the long run, GamerGate has mostly won, as it is the only place where blowback against Progressivism has been consistent; and the institutions moved away from the Old Media, into the New Media, without the New Media completely succumbing to zealotry (the way that YouTube did).
