Those of us who've been fans of Nick since before Rittenhouse, and some of the audience who've come after, have always understood that his show is a night show. We're there for the fat jokes and dick jokes and for the drunken read-throughs of legal documents.
Despite the claims of internet autists and other cringetubers who are frankly jealous of his success, Rackets never tried to portray himself as a serious attorney, but a lot of the audience he gained during his trial coverage fall into the moralfag / tradcuck / boomercon / unemployed soap-opera bingeing housewife category, and have decided they disapprove of his drinking, swearing and sex jokes.
And because the tradcuck crowd, much like leftists, have never really understood the "if you don't like the content, just don't watch it" principle, this has led to constant moralistic, church-lady handwringing about his behavior, when it really hasn't changed much in the years since I started watching him.
He does talk a lot about his personal life, and he tries to be friends with literally everyone, including some people that the kiwifarms have a serious hate-boner for, like Ethan Ralph. And those things have created a situation where the farms have generated a huge thread about Nick full of completely unsubstantiated claims about his personal life, and this has got worse as it's become increasingly clear that almost none of what they say about him is true.
Since internet autists absolutely cannot tolerate being proved wrong, there's now a whole subset of cringetards actively rooting for Nick's marriage and family to fall apart, in spite of the fact that everything seems to be fine, and bombarding his chats and comment sections with bullshit drama whenever he tries to talk about anything else. He doesn't do himself any favors by engaging with them as often as he does, but it's understandably upsetting to a people-pleaser like Nick to have dozens of accounts in his comment sections actively cheering for his life to fall apart and trying to sabotage his family.
I'm sure all the haters right now are super jealous of a guy who is pulling a fraction of what he once was because he can't stop cancelling shows and is clearly in the deepest pits of alcoholism that is apparent from just his physical appearance.
Every autist who may fit the bill of what you describe is doing less damage than his sycophants who will support him through everything, including rewriting reality and history itself, simply because they are enabling him to keep claiming nothing is wrong while he physically deteriorates due to his extreme drinking.
The fact that you think that "everything seems to be fine" while being able to physically look at him makes every other part of your description unreliable.

Whatever you say. He still makes the same enjoyable content he's always made, and he's still doing so from the same studio, which indicates he's living at home. He's just as insightful and articulate as he's ever been, which he showed on his stream with Shafer just the other day. Any behind-the-scenes drama you imagine is occurring beyond that is pure conjecture.
Inserting yourself into the personal lives of e-celebs in order to feed your own sense of moral superiority is the most beta-male faggotry imaginable. If you don't like his content, don't watch it. Continuing to bask in what you perceive to be his decline makes you no better than every lonely, unfucked white girl who ever bought a paparazzi magazine.
Rumble Live Viewer and Total View Counts compared to YT are very suspect.
I've seen commentary from people who experimented with closed invitation streams for private events with known IRL viewers estimate their fudge factor may be around 6x.
Though I do agree with you that he still seems to maintain a significant viewing audience considering all the haters and the drama despite his Superchat revenue cratering.
You have no evidence to substantiate your allegations of alcoholism, so I'm going to go with the most logical conclusion, which is that Nick is a lightweight because he doesn't drink as much as everyone seems convinced he does.
this has led to constant moralistic, church-lady handwringing about his behavior, when it really hasn't changed much in the years since I started watching him.
This is essentially the TL;DR lynchpin of the whole Nick Rekieta drama:
His critics feel that both Nick & his content has changed for the worse while Rekieta himself and some of his fans claim he hasn't and was always this way.
His spurned former fans feel he is a hypocrite for LARPing as a traddad Christian lawyer with a loving wife and 5 kids, hustling as a YTuber, drinking casually and making ridiculous law content fun.
They argue
Nick started drinking too much,
it was revealed he is a trust fund brat pretending to be middle class,
he started banning longtime fans with legitimate criticism, reneging on his free speech principles
he was revealed to resent his wife and family for getting in the way of his hedonistic desires, seething that he has to spend Christmases and long weekends with them rather than debauchery abroad
he defamed another lolcow and lies about the defamatory things he said on air, instead pursuing a ridiculous lolsuit instead of eating crow
he claims he hates all things law related and always has, despite this what made his YT career
he seems to have completely abandoned his Christian faith
he continually makes promises to his audience (custom 5k subscribers gift, 24 hr streams, long-form interview series, his own comic book, auctioning knives to raise funds for Vic, YT How-To bootcamp) that he never makes any steps to fulfill
he exhibits tons of narcissistic behavior where he gaslights constantly and can never admit fault or apologize
Some say he's changed. Others say he hasn't. Still more say he was always like this and the Christian traddad thing was always a thin mask.

His streams still routinely get 6-figure view counts on Rumble, and those have gone up, not down.
And if he were really the alcoholic you insist he is, he wouldn't be getting trashed after three glasses of whiskey on those streams.
