“No friends to the right, no enemies to the left.”

The left casts a wide net in order to secure enough votes to win elections, but that net catches a lot of degenerate fish. Then the boat starts to veer off course, adopting increasingly insane ideas in order to appease its increasingly insane constituents. At some point, normal people begin abandoning the leftist ship, and that’s when things get really crazy - because in order to continue winning elections, the left needs to start recruiting literal criminals, degenerates, and illegals en masse. The end result is an oppressive army of freaks who are dead set on destroying every institution, tradition, and value that normal people hold dear.

It all comes back to the left’s pathological pursuit of power. They will sacrifice any principle, adopt any policy, recruit any demo if it means holding on to power. Inevitably, the mentally insane constituents become the party leaders, guiding policy and enforcing new orthodoxy. That’s where the left is now: literal dog fuckers telling everyone else what to do.
