It's enraging, but not for the obvious reasons, but for the cultural reasons.
It's not just limited to games, either.
Consumable media -- despite what some may think -- is important for establishing, retaining, extolling, and sharing culture. Without culture it's just flesh-suits shagging and killing one another. Culture is the cornerstone of civilisation.
But if the media is designed to subvert the culture, then you're essentially consuming something designed to destroy a pillar of that civilisation.
What we've been seeing lately is the subversion of culture through media, done on purpose.
We have the greatest era of modern technology at our disposal, and it's all being used to subvert and brainwash; to demoralise and proliferate regressive cultural programming.
What's so enraging here is that we should have been seeing an evolution of software to match the advancements in hardware, but we have not. Nearly every major studio is licensing shoddy general purpose engines to (re)make the same thing they've been putting out for the last 15 years. They cut off at the knees any sort of creative endeavours to ensure they are putting out a product that adheres to the ESG's DEI standards, and they are dead-set on using the platforms and countless hundreds of millions of dollars to force-feed people counterintuitive messaging aimed at crippling the general populace's view on the integrity of Western culture.
It's not just that there are no games, it's that what games that are there are designed to be vile caricatures of what was once a medium and conduit used to indulge in a great cultural burgeoning.
Game franchises that became renown are now husks; a shell used to spread "The Message". Brands that were once lauded for their technological prowess in pushing the medium forward are now moved along a conveyor belt of convenience to convey little else other than the degenerate standards of the growing kakistocracy. And properties that were once used to elevate the expectations of artistic ingenuity and prolific storytelling have devolved into pulpits for proselytising an orthodoxy built on the demoralising deconstruction of Western values.
TL;DR: It doesn't matter that the PS5 doesn't have many games to play, because even if they had a few that were fun and enjoyable, it would make up for the scarcity. However, the few games that are there are not made to be fun, but are simply vehicles for Leftist political propaganda and a tool to further destroy Western culture.
