Newsom? He is every single thing they accused Trump of doing times ten. He was one of the West Coast Emperors. It felt like there was a competition to see who could do crazier things during the Covid empires period.
Best part of any of this is how much Floridians have no clue what I am talking about.

Including the charge of killing peoples' grandparents. Case in point: My grandpa didn't die naturally, he was isolated and ventilated, murdered by the California medical system (a view my mom agrees with).
Combined with the highly restrictive mask + social distancing policies that kept me cooped up at home for over 2 years (basically shut out of society for having autism and severe asthma), nothing less than <fedpost> would satisfy the seething anger I have for him and what was once my home.
On that same note, my boomer dad apologized to me around that same time, recognizing and lamenting that I wouldn't get to experience the USA as he did (although he has since gone full Q-Anon to cope with the shock).

The same could be said for most non-Californians. Even before the COVID nonsense, I speak from personal experience when I say that even if you laid it all out for someone, they could never truly grasp 1) just how horrific things really were on the ground over there, and 2) how quickly it could spread to their own state if unchecked.
The Ds are screwed, no matter what sort of desperate last-minute nonsense they pull out of their collective ass, no matter what other empty suit they might substitute for Dementia Joe.
And that's a good thing. Maybe they won't be able to inflict too much more damage in the next . . . what . . . 9 months.
I have to assume Team Trump is already wargaming the scenarios. We just need the big money and machinery of the GOP to put their full support behind him for once.

I keep meeting people who want to try stuff from Seattle here and I wonder if they even understand what it means.

Executive powers in a war zone stopping all elections?
