Yeah, that's the sense I got too. Sad person found a "community" that makes him feel special, and he takes it way too far. He's either going to course correct and come back to reality once his life levels out and gets some real meaning, in which case this stage of his life will feel like a manic episode. Or he drifts further out and dies of suicide surrounded by yes-men.
With Lunacid that was already a given, the sole dev is nonbinary and posts mostly about his depression and his cat.
