Looking at the gallery in the last link, she is technically skilled but her ideology is clearly interfering with her output. Every piece has to have a bad haircut or a minority or a man-woman. From the reddit comments:

Correct. And if you want to appeal to a non-gay audience (ie most people), then that's a problem. Not every artist can do art-as-a-job, and certainly not every job.
