Tbf I've heard this very take from a lot of complete idiots so it's not a limited way of thinking. Some people really have a massive disconnect with reality and don't understand basic concepts like where many resources actually come from, how they are sourced, and how things would be without them.

Just like with a lot of "renewable" energy projects being hyped atm like EVs which keep burning through the floor 🔥 alongside a total misunderstanding of other alternative concepts like nuclear due to decades of misleading propaganda.
