Honestly, having a minority of the black vote turn to Trump, and then another minority turn to West would actually cause some real havok for Dems in urban areas. Even with 70% of the black vote, the Dems would basically lose most of the swing states.
I think the question is "what is a chunk". Even the polls in 2020 were saying nearly 40% of black men supported Trump, but he only got around 16-18%. I'm thinking he might be able to pull in 18-20% this election.
