science is a process, not a religion. The most anti-science people are the ones who insist "the science is settled", especially when they take kickbacks from organizations who profit from said """science""".
there are two roles in the reproductive cycle: the one that bears children and the one that fertilizes the bearer. These would be "woman" and "man" respectively. these roles have been inherit to the human species since the dawn of humanity, and have been inherit to mammals in all of our observations. To say that another role exists implies a mutation in the human species, which has not been observed.
Simply making declarations is not science, that's just politics.
if you are infertile then you are a broken man or a broken woman, but a man or woman nonetheless.
as for who takes care of the children, that's irrelevant and not defined by sex or gender. many cultures in the past indeed had women take care of the children while men gathered resources and built wealth because it was convenient. modern conveniences eliminate the need for this, though many people still choose it because it drives with the instincts that we have fostered over millions of years.
there's nothing about how you act or what you do that determines if you are a man or a woman.
