The cloud to this silver lining: for those that remain to have survived these cuts, they must be the most obedient, committed and slavish of the propagandists in an already vomitous industry. Is journalism dying or actually becoming distilled to an even purer poison? The schadenfreude is great but it's not as if this means we're going to be subjected to less 'news'.
