How about a little more carrot their way instead of the stick

I think we're at the point that there's almost no carrot at all and they're threatening to beat us with the stick

Absolutely. It seems their only solution is the communist one: discourage or ban any competing avenues of stimulation (eg vidya) to make their inferior product (feminist women and a weaponized family court system) look better.
