Part of the problem with this strategy of attack is that it is so blatant that even some of the most bald-faced lies can't cover up that this is an anti-law and anti-order effort. We know it's a violation of English Common Law, let alone state law, federal law, the constitution, and fundamental tenets of republics or democratic systems. Everybody knows it. At that point, they are forcibly removing their own legitimacy to govern; and that makes their success no better than a pyrrhic victory. And likely, not even that.

The very few smart Leftists are trying to hold onto whatever legitimacy they have that remains, because the stormtroopers are accidentally setting fire to everything.
