Lord of The Rings: The Third Age. A cashgrab? Yeah. A combat system pulled straight from FFX? Yeah. Did the story start off with potential to be interesting but get blegh later on. Yes, yes it did.
But dammit I had and still have a lot of fun with this game. Being able to fast-forward it on Dolphin is a lifesaver and it's so easy to snap the game over your knee if you know what you're doing.
But fuck the Uruk-hai in Rohan. You start missing so many melee attacks at that point lmao. And also Evil Mode is either a cakewalk, or you're bent over a table. Hardly any middle ground.
Honestly, the only problem with that game was the sheer spamming of random encounters that slowed any pacing to a crawl. A common issue with any RPG, but there is was much worse given how "cinematic" every skill was.
I assume the fast-forward made it so much nicer to play.
