For me it's Captain Claw - 2d platformer for PC

Hard to say if this would count, though I start to wonder if I'm the only one that fondly remembers Legend of Dragoon.

It was a great JRPG that is often overshadowed by the final fantasy games.

Rose was my favorite character in that game.
