You do understand why your Dad's paying for your wedding, right? It's because, up to this point, he has been taking care of your clown ass. The fact that you expect him to pay for you confirms this fully. This is the last day he'll have that responsibility before he hands it off to your husband.

It has nothing to do with "ownership" (as if you'd provide any value to an owner), it's about duty.
