What does buying Hunter's art do for them, honestly? Are they going to have Joe's handler's ear for one more minute? I really don't get this.

Might be settling a debt as well. The Biden Machine does you a good turn, so you grease the wheels by purchasing some artwork and don't end up grease yourself.
