Some big name was probably talking about it recently, or something. I looked briefly, didn't see anything, except like two 500k+ TikTok vids. So maybe bashing him blew up there for some reason.

Recent comments are a bunch of massive leftist nonsense that's not even worse discussing, but the ones I find hilarious are the ones saying that, well, it's in Spider-Man's character to help a lot of people. That doesn't justify bad gameplay. Talk about massive cope.

Also, yes, the main focus was on the woke stuff, but the reviewer does go into the gameplay too; most of the first part of the video is about gameplay. And all these new comments are just bitching about how he's "miserable" and stuff. Similar to the Starfield HeelVsBabyface blowup, it's understandable to be upset about a game you wanted to like being shit, or games in general being shit.
