If you ignore for a moment that generative image AI will most likely utterly decimate the digital arts industry, it's kind of refreshing to see artistic expressions without the usual Tumblr degeneracy. It only took a blanket ban on explicit sexual content to accomplish this.
I suppose it'll crop up again when the usual suspects(Tumblr degenerates) manage to circumvent the ban on sexual content, but by then AI image generators may be good enough to create 'deep fakes/undress simulacra', removing the demand for illustrated pornographic content altogether.
Another factor of influence is that a new and different demographic is tinkering with artistic expression (through AI.)
I love it too, problem is my computer doesn't have the graphics card to make fine tune the images that come out within a reasonable amount of time. When I get a decent computer eventually I'll start delving into it further.
for non degen stuff, leonardo is a cloud based stable diffusion 1.5 and XL based generator. It's the easiest to use way to get better more cusomisable results.
It's also good for being stable diffusion based, which is what you'll want to be running on your own p, so you'll be more used to that when you get your pc.
Very nice. Will check it out in the future.
How big are you trying to make it? With a 2060, I'm mostly making 960x640 pics upscale 1.2x, rendering is complete in under two minutes.
I'm using Easy Diffusion, but my computer does not have a dedicated graphics card so it takes like 5 minutes for anything that's not microscopic.
What software do you guys use?
Look up Easy Diffusion, there should be a link to download it. It's hosted on your own computer so if you have a bad computer or bad graphics card it will take a bit longer to generate stuff. It's very non-beginner friendly but you can work it well enough with a little practice.
