No scientific model accepts that aliens are visiting earth.

Most astrophysicists do not believe we have made contact with aliens. At the same time, most of them do believe that aliens exist and have advanced several hypotheses about everything from interstellar travel to silicon-based life. The point is that the facts about RUFOs do not have any concordance with these academic hypotheses. In fact, they don't make sense with any idea that aliens are another intelligent biological species.

If aliens can be demons aliens can also be the original vikings. 🤷‍♂️

If you disregard the heavy occult influence in the history of UFOs, as well as a bunch of other details, then sure.

I don't want to be too dogmatic about this, but the term "UFO cult" exists for a reason. Heaven's Gate is only the most famous one.
