my country is going to vote Labour next election

From the sound of it the Conservatives aren't much better anyway. It's pretty bad if they're so pozzed that the left isn't bothering to cheat them out of elections. As bad as the Republicans are at least they haven't reached that point. The flip side is they'll never be allowed to take real power again.
