It was trash. Had a good smattering of “mah representation”, boring announcements, back handed comments to some winners, and a shit ton of ads. Probably more ads than award ceremony. Same 6 games were on the majority of the categories and all but two games should have just been removed: Baldur’s Gate 3 and Alan Wake 2. Thankfully, they gave Armored Core 6 best action game. Big announcement was a new Monster Hunter but it’s won’t be out until 2025. Only really watched for the trash talking from StutteringCraig and Yellowflash.

SyntheticMan is right. A lot of modern gamers deserve this garbage, because they keep supporting it, knowing what it is. Woke, globalist propaganda, the same titles rehashed every year with a new number on it, DRM, always online, micro transactions, etc.
They are either blind to it or know it exists and just tone it out. After all, this is the first generation that had to put up with it in schools. They mastered the art of lying about it and ignoring it.
This is exactly what the globalists want.
Some have mentioned it before that this was always the plan -- we were never the intended targets for this overt propaganda. The current generation of people recognise it as agitprop.
The next generation will grow up in a society where this is all they know, and anyone who stands against the agitprop will be the pariah.
Except this generation will be home schooling or private schooling. Major upticks in both where the parents have a bigger say in the schooling they want. Also, less people having kids won’t help the status quo too (if it’s to be believed.)
That's true, but it's a band aid on a large gaping wound.
We also know that the establishment hates it when you step outside of their predictive programming institution. We've already seen how some are looking to step in and penalise homeschooling to keep kids within the circle of corruption.
