I know pro-life types will hate this and understandably so, but this is one of the few cases where I'm all yeah, abortion because seriously could you imagine the poor child having to grow up with this? Frankly she does qualify for mental health on the basis she wouldn't report her rapist over skin colour alone. The kid wouldn't stand a fucking chance, especially if it turned out to be a boy.
I'm fine with it in these cases but she needs to be permanently sterilized and lose her right to vote, because she's terminally stupid and she shouldn't be allowed any decisions with more impact than what to have for dinner.
I think to consider it puts me as the judge of who lives and who dies, and I'm not. One could argue human life is on balance suffering. The best we can do is to adhere to principles like "do not murder." I don't think we're equipped with the judgement of the divine to split hairs.
So you do not murder, and as best you can you see to it that murder is not done with your assent. A lot of people aren't going to ask permission.
Under normal circumstances I would agree, but there are always those extraordinary circumstances that will make even the most staunchly moral person go "Oh shit" even when they're in the best of moods. It should never be discounted and this is the kind of problem I have with morality in general I feel like any person despite how they act could eventually be pushed into an immoral situation considering how fucked the world can get.
