Now, I know 12-0 doesn't sound like much in terms of sports that Americans actually watch, but it almost never happens except when a team is grossly outmatched. I don't recall such scores in a World Cup ever (but then again, I'm not the biggest football fan myself).
I've never heard of Wrexham, and there's a good reason for that. They are in the third and lowest tier of British football - which are completely different divisions. So not exactly Manchester United, and more like amateurs.
Still they beat the US women's team 12-0. They really suck.
Just bear in mind, this is not standard soccer. It's a smaller field with fewer players (look up "seven-a-side").
Now that I've looked into it, the tweeter has the retirement label on the wrong side. The Wrexham team has current and former players, and the women's team apparently consisted of all former players.

I guess technically Lee Trundle is currently playing. However he's also 47 years old and hasn't played at any semblance of a high level in over a decade.

I was very surprised that there was no offside rule. That is very odd.
Oh, indoor? I've watched that variant of the game before. It is played in the United States, typically in the same venues as hockey rinks.
