I did say this line:

hitting the hotels that the politician's own housing migrants

Some of those hotels are owned by politicians so public money is being spent to house them in hotels and that money goes into the pockets of politicians that have a vested interest not to stop the flow of migrants.

Some of the rioters knew this and targeted some of these buildings.
