Even if all of this is true (and I believe most of it is), Israel should have easily been able to repulse a low-tech invasion force bulldozing fences and flying paragliders. It appears that the most heavily-defended border in the world has no quick reaction force plan in place. Individual outposts can easily be overwhelmed, but where was the air support? Is the IAF only good at bombing condos in Gaza?
