The western media has been doing a remarkably shit job covering this when I've looked up information. Apparently they have their elections in rounds like in France and the final (?) round is happening on November 19th so we'll be finding out if the self-proclaimed Ancap wins or not and it would be hilarious if he does.
This is partly why I'm so interested in South America, the fact that he got this far at all is pretty meaningful. As much as I've pissed on Bolsanaro in the past as well for his moves the South American population seems to have something of a Libertarian streak going for them which is incredibly promising compared to the absolutely cucked behaviour of my own countrymen. I think this will potentially be something worth keeping an eye on guys because it's not an insignificant number of people voting for these candidates which is why the left is sperging out so hard over it if they do bother reporting.

Another event worth pointing out which I completely missed and I wouldn't be surprised others have as well because of the current thing spam. The fact that they actually went and banned an opposition candidate tells you they're scared of what's going on in South America.
You're British right? See if you can move to the Falklands then you're closer to South America, further aways from the British government and bonus, penguins lol
A lot of where I choose to go will depend on the movement of political factions, that's why I'm waiting on 2024 and focusing on projects. Definitely want to leave the UK though with the shit show going on right now. I could probably pick a south american country blindfolded and would be objectively better off just learning spanish and fucking off than staying here. It's not even a question of freedom of speech anymore, it's more about living costs. I'm not fucked or anything right now thankfully but the UK is rapidly deteriorating thanks to bullshit schemes like ULEZ and 20mph limits.
