Tumblr was a septic tank of the most vile and degenerate porn imaginable. It left its scars on multiple generations.

It was actually the ethical thing to do to remove porn from Tumblr, but I'm sure that the decision was actually about money, e.g. apple/android stores not allowing Tumblr as an app in its current form or something.

Yeah, as I understand it, Apple either did or threatened to nuke it off the app store if all of the porn wasn't removed.
