Racism in China is real. That's the primary difference.

Just like with any foreigner, they are following you, they are only pretending to accept you, and if something wrong happens around you, you will be blamed for it.

In the US, you just think that people are acting like that (when they are not). You believe that Americans hate you and will kill you, but none of them do, and none of them will. The Chinese actually will.
