The way to deal with it is not to go full imp but recognise like with the LGBT activists there are two separate communities and you'd be potentially surprised at how much gay guys for example fucking loathe the activists infesting everything currently.
It's the same with women, there really isn't as much of a push for women in gaming and comics as the media would have us believe. Much like with the infamous bud light debacle it was being very aggressively pushed by some woke scumbag executive and that's what's going on now with these companies.
You have these activist women who have zero interest in games or comics practically by their own admission trying to often insert themselves into the media companies they've infiltrated and astroturf the idea into the heads of executives that pandering to women has to be done. In reality though all they're doing is pushing their own agenda and they're often extremely bitter people who are jealous of attractive women on top of that so that's partly why they convince devs they need to hit their characters with the ugly stick.
The actual percentage of women who seriously enjoy this easily has to be less than 5% or so I'd say if that barely fucking any. That's of course me taking out any of the fake attention seekers who are obviously thots and trying to get nerds to simp on them. I have known one or two women in my life time who do game and their taste in gaming was pretty specific too.
You'd be far more likely to find female anime fans and you often do than any of them in gaming/comics because that's got a way more cutesy art style etc. Shocker, women like more feminine things lol. Of course I'm talking feminine stuff because I doubt they'd be the types to be interested in something as dark as Black Lagoon for example.
Manga is much smarter about catering to specific markets. Goes for any group they pander to. Very few black or Hispanic comic book readers I know who actually are into the hobby (not fake fans on social media who get excited over race swaps) like race swapping and every fellow white nerd cared more about the story than the race of the character. Now I’m wary of any black led or female led production due to being beat over the head about diversity. Like if I hadn’t followed Eric July I would’ve been wary of ISOM. Before 2014 I didn’t think of this stuff.
