It’s just the friend/enemy distinction in action, and a lot of tribes are friends with each other only insofar as they want the same people dead.

If you could snap your fingers and remove all of the white peoples tomorrow, earth would be more violent, not less.

Probably because "white peoples" are some of the least violent and racist people in the world.
