If it's not sexual, who cares?

Should Hellsing be banned? I only watched a few episodes, because I just can't with the idea of the "adult female cop" looking like she's a goddamn 5 year old.

But shit, just drawing a kid or a non-human nowadays brings about charges from spermbrains who think that people only want to draw what they want to fuck or something. And frankly, I think that's just a variant on the same type of people who think that people will worship statues and pictures so they all must be banned.

And all slippery slopes start with reasonable stuff. Yes, ban obviously sexual stuff involving children. But when it starts to move into Sailor Moon in her miniskirt?

And the average perv will beat off to any bloody thing.

This in particular isn't a hill I wish to die on, though. I don't care for porn of any kind. But I do enjoy funny animal/anthro cartoons, and prefer to play non-humans in games wherever I can, and I'm in a very straight relationship with a fellow WASP. So I don't know what that makes me, but I don't care, because I've been called every fucking name in the book in my life, so I'm more or less immune. It's just that if they're going to whip up a moral panic over drawings of supposedly-adult females that look like kids (but why don't they ever talk about young looking males?), then I know the next step is "anyone who watches Bugs Bunny wants to fuck rabbits".
