Most people like this know the truth, and keep themselves safe by staying in gated communities, while pretending not to know the truth for brownie points - like that journalist in Beverley Hills who was cheering the burning of public housing for low-income people in Minneapolis, while absolutely panicking when they showed up in his neighborhood.
