They're trying to make it impossible to get rid of their voting base. The only response to this should be military deportation. The governors and NG commanders should just do it, they don't need federal approval.

Dependence creates authority. Your children are dependent on you, that's why you have authority over them. That's what the government wants, a permanently dependent underclass.
