Being a government employee comes with so many benefits its basically living life on easy mode, especially an "agent" which removes even the pesky "having to deal with customers" aspect that plagues the lower level workers life.
I'd be pretty content, as I assume most people would, with the trade off for that being that you give up your "freedom" to speak and act as openly as the rest of the citizens.
