Lefties think themselves experts on every subject that comes up. They think themselves superior in every regard. Not once, have I seen or interacted with a lefty that didnt claim to know more. Hearing a lefty say "I don't know" is like spotting a unicorn.

It's their core mental framework, which pretends to be wholly rational but is fundamentally deprived of any spiritual or intuitive understandings beyond "education" passed down from authority.

Intuitively, to them, the line going from "Ignorance" to "Knowledge" and the one going from "Conservative" to "Progressive" are the same line. To whatever extent they claim to have morals, morality is also the same line. It's why they claim more education can solve all social ills.

One reason why it's almost impossible for anyone in the cult to accept that they were wrong about anything, or that the "Right" was right all along. In their faith, that would equate to them being a bad person.

As for this debate, dinosaurs are an entire clade of animals, the ancestors of both birds and lizards, and must have had a wide vocabulary of sounds depending on the species.
