She is currently suing her medical providers for malpractice, alleging they failed to properly warn her and her family of the potential side effects that came from medical interventions for gender dysphoria.

"Doctors told Chloe and her parents that Chloe’s gender dysphoria would never resolve itself. That was a lie. They also told Chloe and her parents that Chloe was at high risk for suicide unless she socially and medically transitioned. Chloe’s doctors told her parents, 'would you rather have a dead daughter or a live son?’ That was a lie too," Cole's lawyers at the Center for American Liberty said.

Hopefully her family lives in a place where justice can be served instead of blocked from the bench, and the family is able to take the case all the way to a verdict instead of settling.
