Bing says the lefties are wrong - the faces aren't racist. So just quote this to the fuckwits - "Some people are complaining that the real face scans in Starfield are racist because they believe that they are based on stereotypes, caricatures, or misrepresentations of different ethnic groups. For example, some players have criticized the faces of the Asian NPCs, claiming that they look like "yellowface" or "Fu Manchu" characters from old movies.¹ Others have argued that the faces of the Black NPCs are too dark, too light, or too similar to each other.² Some have also accused Bethesda of whitewashing or erasing the diversity of the Latino NPCs.³
These complaints are based on subjective opinions and personal preferences, and they do not reflect the reality of the face scanning process. Bethesda has stated that they scanned over 300 real people from different backgrounds and regions to create the faces in Starfield. They also explained that they used a sophisticated technology called photogrammetry, which captures the shape, texture, and color of the faces in high detail. They said that their goal was to create realistic and diverse characters that represent the human race in a futuristic setting.
Therefore, the real face scans in Starfield are not racist, but rather a result of a complex and innovative technique that aims to enhance the immersion and authenticity of the game. I hope this helps you understand the issue better. 😊"

I mean, they did just that. In reality really beautiful people are quite rare, and even being above average is seen as subpar, because we are used to a higher standard (they are working on that though)
That said: Choosing to reflect reality in a videogame (or film, or comic) is quite moronic. If I wanted to have reality, I'd go outside. Then people are akin to whatever Starfield pushes on us but the Framerate is better and it's in 3D without the need for a headset.

Old school TV: "There's too many good-looking people! We want realism!"
New school TV: "Realism is too fugly, go back to old-school beauty."
