The issue is that the chokepoints move to the tools & support side, where they're harder to dislodge.
A bad game studio making bad, Leftist degenerate games can fail. If the Leftists control the industry-standard tools that developers use to make games (e.g. Adobe, Autodesk, and whatever AI-driven toolsets eventually become widespread adopted) then it's almost impossible to fix the problem. There's already major chokepoints with Steam, Epic, GOG, Apple, Google when it comes to the service side.
So while it's true some technological trends may help indie developers, these forces are probably not stronger than the overall centralizing trend.
