Whining about pronouns at this stage in the "culture war" is like getting upset at a new leak in the boat after half the boat is already underwater.

If you're in a segment of boat that is elevated, air pressure will keep the water out. A leak springing in your personal sanctuary can mean the difference between surviving and drowning, even if the entire boat is already on the seafloor.
